Free May Birding Walks with Audubon

Spring migration is here! May is the peak month for the spring bird migration, with something different moving through each week. Get in on the best birding of the year with Audubon! Novice birders are welcome. Walks are geared for teen to adult.

POSTPONED! New date is Friday, February 21 from 3-4 pm at Blackstone Park, Providence
Join naturalists from the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, the Providence Parks Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership and the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council for a free guided bird walk at the Blackstone Park in Providence. The group will gather in the field across from the Narragansett Boat Club, located at 2 River Rd. Providence, RI 02906. We will look for birds that visit or inhabit the park area throughout the winter, including areas in Blackstone Woods, around Hockey and York Ponds, as well as along the Seekonk River.

Don't know what to do with the family during the school vacation break? Audubon is the solution! Come meet some awesome owls, hawks, turtles and other cool critters! Vacation week is WILD at Audubon, so bring the kids and join the fun.

Come have all your questions answered about solar energy and discover if it is right for you on Sunday, February 23, 2020; 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium. This is a family-friendly event. Children’s activities will be available from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
