Wednesday Morning Bird Walks
Audubon offers FREE Wednesday Morning Bird Walks from September through June with naturalist Laura Carberry. Each week a new birding destination will be chosen, please check back here every Monday for the new location.
This week (5/22/19) we will head to the Grills Preserve in Westerly. We will meet at 9:00 am.
Directions from Downtown Westerly: Take Route 3 North. Turn right onto route 91/Oak Street. Continue on Route 91/Oak St./Westerly Bradford Rd./Bradford Rd. for approximately 5 miles. Make a sharp left onto Main St. Take the 1st right onto Bowling Lane. Bowling Lane ends at the entrance to Grills Preserve.
Have you heard of the Providence Birding Adventure? In addition to our Wednesday bird walks, Audubon Society of Rhode Island is partnering with Providence Parks Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership to offer free monthly bird walks in Providence!
