Audubon offers public workshops, walks and activities for adults, families, homeschoolers, preschoolers and toddlers. All proceeds from Audubon nature programs give school children around the state access to high quality, hands-on science programming.

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is offering free guest admission on select Saturdays this fall and winter at the Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium in Bristol, RI, thanks to the support of Bank of America.
On January 31 and February 28 families and nature lovers of all ages are invited to enjoy a full day of activities at no cost. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., guests can take part in hands-on crafts, nature story time, live animal encounters, guided hikes, and educational programs.

Rhode Island Threads is a group of seventeen fiber artists living in the Rhode Island area and bound together by a passion for creating fiber art. Textiles are foundational to the creation of their art, often layered with painting, dyeing, photography, and stitching. Group members support, enrich and inspire each other personally and creatively. RI Threads have been getting together since 2018 and derive strength from their diversity of background, experience, style, and art training. Meet the artists at the exhibit opening reception on March 8, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm.
