Raptor Weekend is New England's largest celebration of raptors. This September, join us for exciting new presenters including a live flight demonstration and plenty of art on display. The event will also feature raptor presentations by Audubon experts and wildlife rehabilitators from across the Northeast that have Raptor Weekend fans coming back year after year!

Live Flight Demonstration by Westy's Birds of Prey
Master falconer Rick West of Westy’s Birds of Prey will bring breath-taking, free-flight demonstrations on both days. Coming from Adams, New York, Mr. West highlights aerial agility in this program focusing on falconry and raptor biology. A European Eagle Owl, Spectacle Owl, Barn Owl, Harris’s Hawk and Aplomado Falcon are a few of the raptors he may present.
Saturday, September 8 at 10:30-11:15 am & 1:00-2:00 pm; Sunday, September 9th at 11:00-11:45 am and 1:30-2:15 pm.

Raptor Carvings by artist Al Jordan
Award-winning, acclaimed carver and Master Falconer Al Jordan of Rochester, New York will exhibit raptors exquisitely carved from wood. See these life-like pieces up close, meet the artist and shop the carvings. Al Jordan will also be giving a talk on falconry.

Raptor Watercolors by artist Holly Wach
Holly Wach's work strives to connect with the spirit, personalities and energy of these amazing creatures. Holly's artwork, created from watercolors, pastels and oil paint, will be available for purchase.

Raptors Book Signing with photographer and author Traer Scott
This delightful and dramatic collection of portraits reveals birds of prey as we never experience them: intimate and up close, photographed in Traer Scott's signature style. Purchase a copy for yourself and have it signed by the author! Saturday, September 8th from 12:30 - 3:00 pm.

Ray Brown's Talkin' Birds Radio Show
Talkin' Birds is a live and interactive radio show about wild birds and the beauty of nature. Ray Brown will broadcast his September 9th show LIVE from Raptor Weekend. The show airs on 18 radio stations across New England and surrounding areas and frequently appears as a guest on NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday with Scott Simon.
