Our Newest Ambassador Needs a Name!

Meet Audubon's newest educational ambassador: an American Kestrel!

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island has been very busy this spring, including making a roadtrip to Seaside Seabird Sanctuary in Florida to bring our newest ambassador home. This young Kestrel was found with an injured left wing after a presumed vehicle strike. After months of rehabilitation, her wing has limited mobility and she is unable to fly.

As an animal ambassador at RI Audubon, she will accompany our educators on programs in schools, community centers, senior living communities, and more, creating memorable connections and inspiring people to protect birds and their habitats.

Audubon staff have compiled our top three name choices. Now, it's your turn to vote on the final name!
