Come out February 2, 2017 to support the Energize Rhode Island Act
Thursday, February 2, 2017: 3pm - 4pm
State Room, Rhode Island State House
82 Smith St., Providence
The Energize Rhode Island Coalition, along with Senator Jeanine Calkin and Representative Aaron Regunberg, invites the public to join them as they introduce the Energize Rhode Island Act of 2017 at a press conference on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 3pm to 4pm.
As a member of the Environment Council of Rhode Island, Audubon supports the Energize Rhode Island Act.
Through carbon pricing on fossil fuels, the Energize Rhode Island act will expand Rhode Island's investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency programs. The Energize Rhode Island Act will lead to huge drops in carbon pollution, moving the state towards the goals established in the 2014 Resilient RI Act.
Now is the time to act locally and stand up for our environment. The White House has had a busy week...will you help the Energize Rhode Island Coalition and the Audubon Society of Rhode Island move Rhode Island towards a greener environment and economy?
