Nature Center and Aquarium

Plan your visit! The Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium is a natural history museum and aquarium, offering easy walking trails through various habitats and a boardwalk to Narragansett Bay. Stop into the Nature Shop and view our live Common Raven Zachariah! Guided walks, birding classes, lectures, and family programs are offered throughout the year. The facility and trails are handicapped-accessible.

Hours

Are we open for visitors? Before your visit, please check the Nature Center and Aquarium webpage for closing announcements due to holidays, inclement weather or private events.

Exhibits & Nature Gift Shop: Open Wednesday - Sunday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (Closed Monday & Tuesday)
Trails & Grounds: Open daily; sunrise - sunset

During open hours, visitors can utilize the building's bathrooms and water refill station. Should you visit on a day we are closed and need to use the bathroom, please ring the bell and a staff member will let you in if they are present.

Headquarters Office

Audubon's administrative office is situated on the Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge. Trail visitors are welcome to utilize the building's restrooms and water refill stations during opening hours. This location no longer hosts a gift shop.
