Order an Osprey License Plate and Support Environmental Conservation through Education

Join hundreds of Rhode Islanders who sport an Osprey on their vehicles. Represent your support of the educational efforts of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island with an Osprey license plate!
The plate fee is $42.50: $20 supports the environmental education programs of Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Save The Bay and $22.50 pays for the production of the plates. The $42.50 fee (per set) is required to order your plates.
You must include a legible copy of your current registration for each set of plates. Note: A $10 fee will be added upon renewal of your registration, so you can continue supporting environmental education in Rhode Island for years to come.
Orders can take 4 - 8 weeks to process. The DMV will send your new plates to you in the mail once they are completed. They request that customers do not return the old set of plates to any DMV or AAA office. Doing so will create a cancellation of the plates/registrations. Plates can be cut in half and discarded, or you can recycle destroyed plates if your town accepts them at your local recycling center.
